With passion for both artistic and technical matters, background in engineering and a professional career with NASA and ESA, the artistic side has always run in parallel. Painting education with Ben Vernimmen at Atelier Artopa, Vrije Akademie in The Hague and Ars et studium in Wassenaar  (The Netherlands) as member of the Wasnar group with regular expositions, illustrated several books and designed space related logos, posters and commemorative stamps for NASA and ESA. Also busy with other techniques like photography, ceramic and sculpture.

After retirement moved to Germany with more time to dedicate to the artistic side and developing in new fields, for example like in  woodwork and the design and construction of lamps, but continuing with photography and painting.
