ELISEO BALAGUER  CALPE

Welcome to my online Exposition. Here in this open window I share with you my  creative work.  By picking up subjects interesting to me, I present my own interpretation expressed in colour and form. A colorful variety of graphic art.

The sunken child, watercolor. At first sight a big fish will devour a child. Above the child a frightened red fish and a balloon to which the child is attached. If you take a closer look at the details, you will see that the big fish from a shoal of small, harmless fish exists. The child has the choice between fear (the red fish) and salvation with the balloon that lifts him or her to the rescuing surface. He does not seem to be afraid. It is the fear that sometimes makes life difficult!

The life before you. What do you see? One possible explanation: "The young man lies with the light in his hand, centered and calm. Around the forces that support him as spirituality, common sense in the form of protective animals. Fear of threatening but stuffy monsters. External influences religion, education, militarism

Superman. At first glance, Superman flies to protect the occupants of the boat, but the dragon seems more scared and Superman is focused on himself. The papier-maché mountains suggest a staging. The dragon is tattooed and inflated with our fears. The boat is the observer of the painting, navigating through life. The rower in front, brave and determined, the second admires the scene, the third in panic. How do you see this?
